Translator / Interpreter

Translator / Interpreter

A professional translator since 1998 and an audiovisual translator since 2004. I work from English into Spanish (Castilian and Latin American) and from both varieties of Spanish into English. I work mainly with interlingual subtitles and subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, and perform quality control of dubbed versions and audio descriptions.
My work has earned two nominations to Spain’s ATRAE awards, one for Castilian Spanish SDH authoring for Feria: The Darkest Light in 2023 and another for Castilian Spanish Subtitle QC for Outside the Wire in 2022. I have vast experience translating for different platforms and independent filmmakers. My work into Spanish and English has reached many countries through streaming platforms, international film festivals, and even exclusive audiences such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ voting members in Spain.
