Concept Art Graphic Designer

Hi! I’m Facu, graphic designer with studies in drawing and filmmaking studies. I want to help audiovisual productions, communicating and aiding and supporting the storytelling in a coherent and cohesive way within the visual universes that conform the story.

My studies in filmmaking and visual arts allow me to think every piece from composition, narrative and conscious use of image, creating powerful messages that work even without words.

In each project I like to help organize and strenghten the visual communication via the integration of illustration, design and audiovisual criteria to solve concrete problems.

I design Brands, Posters, Social Media Posts, Profiles or Packagings that help the piece’s storytelling in Art Direction or for the piece’s diffusion. I can also draw storyboards for the piece.

I’ve been working on different areas since 2012.
I started working as model maker of architectural projects in 8M Maquetas.
Since 2015 I’ve been combining my talents as an illustrator and designer creating concepts, backgrounds, characters and art directing. The projects I’ve worked on vary from audiovisual to publicity and video games companies.

My first illustrating recognitions where Mentions for my works “Savage” and “Daily Paintings” in the II and III Award for Illustrators of Children’s and Young Adults’ Books (MEC) in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

In 2016 I had the opportunity of working as a colorist for John Dillworth’s shortfilm “Goose in High Heels” produced by Stretch Films.

My opera prima as filmmaker “For Love” was premiered in 2018. “For Love” is an animated satirical shortfilm, which took part in numerous festivals including Chilemonos (Chile), Monstra (Portugal) and Anima Latina (Argentina)
The same year I worked for Google, illustrating the doodle that represented Uruguay during the FIFA World Cup.

In 2019 I worked as animator in Amparo Aguilar’s documentary “Mala Madre”, produced by AH! Cine (AR) and U-Films (UY). I also participated in the colaborative animated shortfilm “Migrante”, directed by Daniel Lezzi and Ezequiel Dalinger (AR)

Since 2017 I’ve been working in Pomelo Games as an artist and designer.
One of my biggest projects there was the art direction of Griddie Islands, a mobile game released in 2020

My latest work was directing, producing and animating the music video of Canciones sin Hogar’s single “Mil Espadas” with Emiliano Brancciari as voice guest.
