“Documentary filmmaker since 1983, after taking the Cinemateca Uruguaya film courses and others. In Cinemateca I worked from 1977 to 2004 from the board of directors to the coordination. I have directed the Divercine Festival since 1992 and Atlantidoc since 2007. I have produced international documentaries from Argentina to Germany. My penultimate documentary El padre de Gardel had 6000 spectators in theaters in Montevideo and sold 5000 DVDs through the newspaper El País. Currently I am making two documentaries: Máximo and Pasos en la niebla. I have won three Morosoli awards and others in Uruguay and abroad. I have been a festival judge from Berlin to China. ”
