I’ve been working in production for more than 25 years, first in the Art Department (Casablanca, Mojo Film) and later as Line Producer in advertising agencies. Since 2001 I’ve been continuously working as Executive Producer for various production and post-production companies, including Aparato, Murdoc and Crystal Box. Since 2014 I manage Mr. Anderson, a boutique post-production house.

Emiliano Mazza De Luca was born in Montevideo 1970.
Uruguayan Director & Producer. Executive Director at PASSAPAROLA.

Committed to auteur cinema, he experiments with multi-formats, impact cinema (Outreach&Engagement), performance cinema, and cinema concerts. The search for new forms of representation is his main concern. His films have been recognized at important international film festivals like: IDFA, Biarritz, Seattle, Guadalajara, among others.

As a teacher, he has worked at EICTV advising on production, and impact campaigns in: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and Uruguay.

More than 15 years of experience providing international production services in Uruguay and the region, thanks to alliances with a network-friendly companies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and Uruguay.

More than 20 years of experience in the production and organization of events and shows, having worked in the main shows in the country: Bicentenario Uruguay, El Asado Mas Grande del Mundo, Transmission Production of the IDB Governors Assembly, Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Ed Sheeran, No Te Va Gustar, La Vela Puerca, among others. I am the director and programmer of Montevideo Sound City, one of the most important music festivals in Montevideo. I was president of ProM.UY, Association of Managers and Musical Producers of Uruguay. Regarding my business side, I have carried out ventures since 1997, he was the creator and director of Pacharán Taberna Vasca, Bräwn Bar de Cervezas and Entreacto Cafebar. Since 2003 she is devoted to audiovisual contents production and distribution. She worked in private and state TV channels, in advertising production companies and was part of the Coral Cinema team. She is executive director in U Films since 2012. She has been invited as juror in national and international funds and actively participates in festivals and cinema markets.
She currently is the president of Asoprod and in the board of directors of Egeda Uruguay. She teaches executive production at the School of Cinema from Uruguay.

“Documentary filmmaker since 1983, after taking the Cinemateca Uruguaya film courses and others. In Cinemateca I worked from 1977 to 2004 from the board of directors to the coordination. I have directed the Divercine Festival since 1992 and Atlantidoc since 2007. I have produced international documentaries from Argentina to Germany. My penultimate documentary El padre de Gardel had 6000 spectators in theaters in Montevideo and sold 5000 DVDs through the newspaper El País. Currently I am making two documentaries: Máximo and Pasos en la niebla. I have won three Morosoli awards and others in Uruguay and abroad. I have been a festival judge from Berlin to China.

Graduate in Audiovisual Communication, she starts her career by producing several short films, TV programs, directing a series of 13 programs for TV Ciudad, production of different radio programs, theater plays, and collaborating with several journalist reports for the supplement Cultural from the newspaper El País. Sin 1999 she works in Metrópolis Films as advertising spots production and production services for renowned producers such as RSA (Ridley Scott). During these years she is also part of the production team of Miami Vice (Michael Mann), Amazing Race, among others.
In 2002 she moves to Madrid (where she will live for four years), and she works as a producer in advertising spots, video clips, documentaries for History Channel, and institutional videos. In 2006, back in Uruguay, she sets up the producer Expresso Films.
Mal día para pescar was released at the International Festival of Cannes in 2009, which entailed her first feature film as Executive Producer.

In 2012 she creates, together with Lucía Gaviglio, U FILMS, a company devoted to developing national and international audiovisual projects (Gilda, A 60km/h, Mi Mundial, Malamadre, No Viajare Escondida, Tus Padres Volverán.)
