Synopsis:

Las tías (The Aunts) is an 8-episode documentary series about women who were part of our everyday world and lived their family stories without becoming mothers. Each episode is the portrait of an aunt seen through an intergenerational dialogue with her nieces. The series is a patchwork of the lives of women who left a deep mark on those around them, becoming, often without realizing it, agents of change in the role of women within the family.
