Synopsis:

The documentary follows Nicole Marrero (18), who moved alone from Mercedes to Montevideo at just 15 years old to pursue her dream of becoming a soccer player. It chronicles the journey she undertook, as well as the stages and emotions she has faced and continues to face. It highlights the hardship of being separated from one's family and the experience of living with homesickness. Additionally, it addresses topics regarding women's soccer and the differences between the women's and men's games. Through an interview format, various players from the women's squad share their opinions and experiences. This short film opens up a conversation about how the process of moving from the interior of the country is less difficult depending on one's gender.
