ADIóS, ADIóS

Marco Valenti (Montevideo, 1998). A director, editor and sound designer based in Uruguay and a member of Ouroboros Films. His debut feature, Frágil como cristal, made at 23 and developed independently over four years, premiered at the 44th Festival Cinematográfico Internacional del Uruguay and is now on the festival circuit with Santa Cine (Argentina). He edited Adrián Biniez's Todos quieren dominar el mundo (2024) and has composed and designed sound for theatre, including at the Comedia Nacional. He is developing his second feature, Un lugar de verano, winner of the NYFA Award (Gen J) and the BAM Award at the Cina Cina Screenwriting Residency, where he was mentored by Martín Rejtman and Inés Bortagaray. He coordinates Espacio Ateneo and teaches at Escuela Comunitaria de Cine del Oeste.
