Javier Palleiro
Born in Uruguay in 1976, in November 2007, he co-wrote and directed Buen Viaje (2008 Cannes Film Festival Official Competition; Zinebi Best Latin American, Bilbao 2008) with Guillermo Rocamora. He was an associate producer on the documentary feature Las flores de mi familia, which was chosen Best Film of the Latin American competition held as part of the 16th edition of the Santiago International Documentary Film Festival (aka Fidocs). He co-wrote and produced the feature film Solo, premiered at the 30th Miami International Film Festival in 2013, and recipient of the Best Debut Film award. He has co-produced the Argentinian features La Luz Incidente, by Ariel Rotter, El Pampero by Matías Lucchesi and Invisible, by Pablo Giorgelli His most recent project is Breathe, which he directed and co-wrote, a feature film produced by Guillermo Rocamora which has received the support of the Berlinale’s Talent Campus, INCAA, and the FIC.
