Filmarket Hub is an online marketplace that connects film and television projects in development with companies in the audiovisual sector: production companies, networks, OTT platforms, international sales agencies and distributors. It is a platform that was created with the aim of giving visibility to the best emerging talent and promoting agreements to produce new projects at an international level. It currently has more than 25,000 users from all over Europe and Latin America. Under the Pitchbox brand, it also regularly organizes on-site pitching events where the best projects of the platform are presented to leading companies in the industry.

Latam Online Pitchbox is the third Filmarket Hub event focused on Latin America. In March 2019 it held the FICG TV Pitchbox series event in collaboration with the Guadalajara International Film Festival and later in November the first edition of CDMX Film Pitchbox took place in Mexico City, dedicated exclusively to Mexican feature films. Among the success stories that emerged from these events is ‘Manual de supervivencia’, the first original Movistar series in Argentina, which premiered on May 14th.

Due to the circumstances caused by COVID-19, 29/ has decided that the safest way to celebrate its next events Pitchbox is online. The first to adapt to this new virtual format has been UK Online Pitchbox, an event focused on British projects that will take place at the beginning of July with the participation of companies such as BBC Films, Entertainment One, Film4, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal International Scripted, Studiocanal or Wild Bunch TV.
