Uruguay Audiovisual was once again present in a new edition of RIO2C. A delegation of 7 Uruguayan production companies headed by Uruguay XXI actively participated in the largest creative event in Latin America. Attendees included leaders and professionals from the audiovisual, music, and innovation markets.
During the event, Uruguay had a private space to hold meetings and highlight the advantages of filming in our country. The delegation participated in a co-production meeting with Rio Grande do Sul and BRAVI producers, in order to build alliances to make their projects viable, in addition to complying with an extensive agenda of meetings.
A meeting was also held at the Uruguayan Consulate in Rio de Janeiro that brought together fellow Uruguayans involved in the audiovisual sector who work in the city in order to expand the existing contact networks of our delegation.
Omaira Rodríguez, the specialist in Creative Industries at Uruguay XXI, emphasized why filming in Uruguay is an efficient and attractive option for international productions, focusing on the incentives of the Uruguay Audiovisual Program.
