PERKAL, LA MEMORIA DE UN NOMBRE

Perkal is a surname of Polish origin, like all my family. Its my last name, but its also my nickname and the way to refer to me. Perkal, la memoria de un nombre is a search to understand the weight of inheritances. A journey that seeks to recompose a fragmented and silenced memory to give voice to a present.

Documentarian and film and TV editor, she has edited the documentary Alcira y el campo de espigas and directed the medium-length film Desmemorias y Suburbano. She is currently shooting Perkal, the story behind a name, her first documentary feature film as Director.
