NOSTALGIA DEL FUTURO

Juan is a father who is trying to rebuild his worn-out marriage and the bond with his daughters. Eloísa is the daughter who embarks on a journey to satisfy her own desire. A story in two times to talk about the love we receive and the love we want to give.

Born in Maldonado, Uruguay, at the end of the summer of 1993. Her first short film is Luz breve Brief light, a self-referential documentary film that has participated in diverse festivals. Winner of special mention in the International Cinema Festival of Cinemateca Uruguaya 2019. In 2020 she premieres the short film Ese furioso deseo sin nombre That furious desire without a name realized in Cuba. With this short she travels various festivals, premiering internationally in DocBsAs, Argentina and travelled to France to the International Cinélatino Festival of Toulouse and was in various festivals of Brasil, Peru and Mexico. She’s currently working on the development of her opera prima, the fiction feature film Nostalgia del futuro Nostalgia of the future.
