She was born in Montevideo in 1981. She is a director, screenwriter, producer, teacher and has a degree in Social Communication. In his 14-year career, she has written, directed and produced the feature films Alelí 2019, premiered at Biarritz and Chicago, Audience Award at the CineramaBC festival and So Much Water 2013, co-directed with Ana Guevara, premiered at Berlinale and awarded in Guadalajara, Cartagena de Indias, Miami Film Festival, among others, and the short films 60 Candles 2014, official selection in Biarritz, Cartagena de Indias, Miami, Summer Runners 2009, official selection in Rotterdam, Kinoforum, Tampere and Milan and El cuarto del fondo 2007, Best Short Film award at the FIC Bilbao. She has participated as an international jury at BAFICI, Miami and Proimágenes Colombia Festivals. Along with her co-writer and co-director Ana Guevara and her producer Agustina Chiarino, they are working on the post-production of their third fiction feature film, Hold Me Tight.
