Synopsis:
An artist shares her personal process through which she creates a dance solo. By exploring her values and techniques, she also reveals how the most intimate chapters of her life experiences have left an indelible mark in her work. Along a deep, heartfelt journey, she will also invite each one of us to find an expression that may allow us to explore and reveal our own inner worlds.

Bio Director:
Andrea Arobba / Director Montevideo, 1969 Choreographer, dancer, director, curator and instructor. She has devoted the most part of her career to developing of projects and spaces aimed at increasing the visibility of dance, both on stage and in social interactions, training and community building. After completing her training in classical ballet, she joined for many years the Contradanza company, a group recognized as a foundational reference in the Uruguayan dance scene. She then embarked on a very fertile career as a soloist and director, that has led her to present stage projects of very different scales and formats in Montevideo, New York, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Düsseldorf, Barcelona and Venice. In recent years, some of her performing projects have been strongly linked to science, a shift related to her status as co-director of the GEN Center for Arts and Sciences: the project “Natural History of Beauty” (2013), takes biological concepts as a departure point; then Big Bang (2017), does the same with themes from physics and cosmology, and Sinapsis (2019) is an artistic interpretation of themes from neuroscience. Gabriel Bendahan / Media content Montevideo, 1981 Director and director of photography. He graduated in Social Communication, specializing in Creative Storytelling. In his role as a photographer and camera operator, he has always focused his attention in the construction of audiovisual stories that can captivate and move audiences. For twenty years he participated in productions both in Uruguay and the world, experimenting with very diverse media, production approaches and filming contexts. He directed the photography in “Tu casa es mi casa”, a series that captures an artistic and scientific journey through 12 countries in Latin America, produced by NBC Universal and shown on HBO. He has developed numerous musical, journalistic and artistic projects, including “Compartir conocimiento”, a series on scientific exchanges in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
