Synopsis:
What happens when what is postponed is your own life? Delia wrote poems for Jorge during the 10 years that he was imprisoned in the dictatorship. She never showed them to him, today after 40 years she gives them to me.

Bio Director:
She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from UDELAR and completed her Master's degree at ESCAC Barcelona, specializing in Cinematography. She directed the documentary Delia, which had its international premiere at the Málaga Film Festival in 2022, where it won the Silver Biznaga for Best Direction and a Special Mention from the Jury. In 2021, the film was selected for La Semana del Documental – DocMontevideo and won Best Feature Film and the Audience Award at the Detour Festival. In 2022, it received a Special Mention from the Jury and the Audience Award at the Cinematheque Uruguaya Festival and was selected for the documentary competition at the Lima Film Festival. Delia is available on FILMIN Spain. She is currently developing two feature films: Cabildo 71 and Amiga, and her short film Colmenas, selected by the Women in Productive Activity Fund of MIEM, will premiere at Detour 2024.
