AIRE

Air is a documentary serie of portraits of people who suffered forced disappearance in Uruguay in the 70s and 80s. In each chapter we will know the story of a missing detainee: who was, how his/her life was, what things took away his/her sleep, through the gaze of one of their loved ones.

Pablo Abdala studied cinema at the Uruguayan Film School and cinematography at the S.I.C.A. Training Center. Argentina. He was co-director of the fiction short films La Velocidad de los Ceibos First Prize at the International Film Festival of Uruguay 2007, La Pedrera S.F.F. 2008 and AXN Film Festival, Mexico 2008 and Our Hospitality First Prize Curta Cinema, Brazil 2011. He is co-director of the fiction feature film Mateína 2022, Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina.
