Lucila Bortagaray

Producer Executive Producer

Master’s Degree in Communication (UNIA, Spain) and Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication (ORT, Uruguay). With over twenty years of experience, she has developed an emphasis on both audiovisual production and project management. She was Coordinator of the Uruguay Film Commission, created with the objective of promoting Uruguayan audiovisuals abroad. Born in Salto, in 1977, she currently works as an independent producer. She is executive producer of the documentary “There is a door there”, which has participated in the San Sebastián, Málaga, Havana Festivals and the Uruguayan International Film Library Festival. She is a teacher of Executive Production in the Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and Audiovisual Media at the Faculty of Arts and of Film Production in the Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
