Mueca Films is a production company born out of the desire to tell stories.
We believe in a way of conceiving and carrying out projects. We build images thinking that every shot and every word connects with everything else.
We try to make fiction seem true and documentary records seem to come out of the imagination. There are new ways to tell old stories.
Founded in 2012 by Juan and Facundo Ponce de León, Mueca Films has produced audiovisual projects in Uruguay, Russia, Switzerland, Canada, Panama, Cuba and Haiti.
