Synopsis:
Halfway through life, I set out on a journey that brings to life the adventure of Ivo, my Italian grandfather. A soldier and prisoner during World War II, he tried to make his way home after escaping. A search for the past in the present, the meaning behind the trail and its inhabitants. Yesterday and today: the diary of two travelers on the same journey home.

Bio Director:
Mauri works on the pacing of each story with his own unique perspective, placing special emphasis on editing and precise direction of actors. He took courses in film and animation at ECU, studied photography with Carlos Porro at Qualities, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communication from UCUDAL. He is currently dedicated full-time to audiovisual production through the production company Guacho, of which he is the founder and creative partner.

Video ensayo que reconstruye el camino de Ivo, emigrante italiano a mediados del siglo XX.
A través de un viaje de regreso a su casa natal se desenvuelve un paseo por los Apeninos y la actualidad de sus habitantes, incitando reflexiones sobre el significado de los viajes, el movimiento y la casa.
