I was born in Montevideo in 1968. My first profession was as a physical education teacher—a role that was central to my professional life for years and, in a way, influenced my later move into working with actors and directing. Between 1995 and 1997, I was part of the radio program *Fútbol y Cía*, led by Ricardo Piñeirúa; this experience marked one of my first forays into the world of media and communication. In 2019, I decided to deepen my engagement with audiovisual storytelling and began studying acting and directing actors under Gabriel Pérez (from the ECU), with whom I also took a screenwriting workshop. From 2020 to 2022, I studied acting at the *La Escena* school with Oscar Estévez and Cecilia Caballero. I subsequently continued my training by specializing in on-camera acting with Joaquín Mauad and Javier Chávez. At the same time, I began working as an actor on various audiovisual projects. I appeared in around a dozen short films produced by institutions such as ORT, UCU, and UTU, as well as independent productions. I also acted in films like *Bruselas* and *Como el mar*, and in series such as *Iosi, el espía arrepentido*, *Margarita*, *Coppola*, *Barra Brava*, and the Uruguayan production *Iguales o parecidos*. Over time, my focus gradually shifted from acting toward writing and directing. In 2025, I wrote, produced, and directed *Simbiosis*—my directorial debut. It is a horror-thriller mockumentary that explores the relationship between images, reality, and what might lie hidden behind them. *Simbiosis* was selected for the **Detour New Cinema Festival** and the **MVD International Film Festival**, marking a new beginning in my audiovisual journey: the transition from being in front of the camera to also taking on the responsibility of creating and telling my own stories.
