LAS BUENAS DECISIONES

Synopsis:

Clara, a 35-year-old woman, makes the sudden decision not to board the plane that would take her away from Montevideo for three years with Martín, her partner of five years. Back in the city, she moves into a complex of houses owned by her friend Vero. Although she is initially lost, she finds a job in a theatre and meets Diego, her neighbour, who leaves her cat Ariadna to look after her while he is away. Her failed relationship with him and his endearing relationship with her inspire her to take up her passion for reading and writing again. A date with Braulio that results in an instant connection and who could have been everything in five minutes, makes her realise that she is not yet ready to start over on the road to love. Despite emotional ups and downs, Clara finally finds her creative voice in writing and directing her first play, culminating in an emotional and liberating opening night. Although she still faces uncertainties and reflects on her decisions, Clara embraces the future determined to move forward with her life.
