DESPERTÉ CON UN SUEÑO

Felipe is a teenager who spends his days riding a bike with his friends along the empty streets of the beach town where they live, rapping freestyle and taking acting classes behind his mother’s back. He sees entire plays in his dreams and writes them. Faced with the chance to audition for a film, Felipe escapes to the capital city and meets his paternal grandmother after not seeing her since his father’s death. He ends up putting together the pieces of his past, confirming who he wants to be.

Screenwriter, film director, actor, and a teacher, he graduated from Drama School of Buenos Aires and studied filmmaking in Columbia College Chicago. He is the author of the films Minimal Stories, Who Says Its Easy?, The Bottle, A Boyfriend for my Wife, and I Married a Dumbass. In 2009 he directed his first feature film Together Forever, and in 2017 he directed The Last Suit. In 2021 he shot I Woke Up with a Dream, his third feature film.
